Due to launch on Saturday, Rhumaa Cacao Bar in Amsterdam will open in the Jordaan district at Six and Son’s sustainable concept store, offering raw cacao beverages.
Rhumaa began life as a sustainable Dutch fashion brand that supported unknown African artists and has evolved into a conscious lifestyle brand that is focused on health and wellness, with raw cacao at its core.
After years of being addicted to coffee, Co-Founder Leon Goldwater stumbled across ceremonial cacao during a chocolate event over three years ago. After consuming just one cacao per day he effortlessly lost his need for multiple cups of coffee. Over the past three years, thousands of people had the opportunity to taste ceremonial cacao at the Six and Sons Discovery Bar. Now, together with Rhumaa’s Co-Founder, Ilona Taillade, they have created the first Rhumaa Cacao Bar with the ambition of a household name. The objective of the bar is to introduce, develop and promote other cacao entrepreneurs as well as the Rhumaa brand.
