The planned 6,000sq m store will be the first Carrefour hypermarket in the country and it will open in September.
Over the next two years, Groupe Pyrénées will work alongside Carrefour on the development of several stores in Andorra, the retailer said.

Elsewhere, Patrick Perez, President and Chief Executive of Groupe Pyrénées said that the planned opening is a “great opportunity” for the business to strengthen its position as a leader in the marketplace.
“The quality image of Groupe Pyrénée will be reinforced by the arrival of one of the European leaders in the sector,” he said.
