Anthropologie has announced it will open in North Central Florida later this year at the new Butler Town Center in Gainesville. Founded in 1992 by Urban Outfitters. The 8,750-sq.-ft store is scheduled to open this fall near The Cheesecake Factory and P.F. Chang’s, both of which have been packing in crowds since opening last year, according to Butler.
“In an evolving, competitive retail climate, this store is thriving and in high demand. Signing them shows the continued strength of the growing Butler Town Center and our entire city,” said Deborah Butler, president of Butler Enterprises.
“This is a retailer our market has been demanding for a long time, and it’s taken us two years to get it done,” said Butler. Next up on the new tenant list will be Narcissus Fashion, Mode-Aveda Salon, and REI.
