As of today, four Apple stores in Madrid have closed due to the continued outbreaks of Covid-19.
Those Apple stores that have temporary closed their doors are: Arroyomolinos in Xanadu Shopping Centre, Leganes, Parquesur Shopping Centre, Madrid in Puerta del Sol and Majadahonda, Gran Plaza 2 Shopping Centre.
According to Apple, these closures have been taken “with great caution” and the company intends to closely monitor and review the situation in each area before taking the decision to reopen these locations safely.
The move comes as Spain is currently the worst-hit country in Europe regarding Covid-19 figures with Madrid being the hardest hit area in the country. The remaining Apple stores in Spain remain under close observation and are still implementing precautionary measures to stop the spread of the disease.
