All stores in California, including those in the San Francisco Bay Area have been shuttered as Covid cases begin to rise again.
As it stands, there are nearly 100 Apple stores that are non-operational with all retail locations across California notifying customers that locations will be closed until further notice; however there is still an option for customers to pick up their goods at the genius bar through an appointment.
A number of stores in Tennessee have closed this weekend along with stores that are located in UK’s new Tier 4 lockdown. The Netherlands and Germany have 18 closed stores and stores across Mexico and Brazil are set to close this weekend.
In those stores are still operational across the USA, the company is operating a limited capacity that allows for pickups and genius bar appointments, but doesn’t allow customers to browse and shop. All customers are required to wear face masks, undergo a temperature check and implement social distancing.
There has been no official reopening date announced however the stores are expected to stay closed throughout the holiday period.
