% Arabica Set for Vietnam Debut

The Japanese coffee chain is expanding into Vietnam, opening its first brick-and-mortar store in the country next week.

The Vietnam store location was first announced three years ago and the brand has now completed the full store fit-out inside Ho Chi Minh City’s popular ‘Café Apartments’ building situated on the city’s bustling Nguyen Hue walking street.

The 100sq m café has been designed by the Fresh creative studio Cigue and it incorporates the brand’s trademark simple and clean design approach with the addition of local architectural elements.

Vynce Nguyen, GM of the KHO Group said: “Locations are one of the most important factors for % Arabica when opening in new regions. After the team did some extensive location scouting, they fell in love with the Nguyen Hue café apartment building.”

The brand hopes to offer consumers a new coffee experience in the market, which is already known for its coffee-drinking culture. The new store will offer a menu that the company utilises in other markets.
