The Canadian outdoor clothing brand intends to double its current New York portfolio by opening an additional three locations before the end of the year.
The first of these stores, located on Bleecker Street in the West Village opened at the end of November whilst another two are to set to open this month – one in the Flatiron District and the other on the Upper West Side. All three of the new locations are Arc’teryx Iconc stores, a new concept by the brand that brings together a selection of their best-selling items including the Alpha SV and Atom LT jackets.
Megan Cheesbrough, Arc’teryx VP of Retail Excellence commented: “At our Icon stores, we are showcasing designs that have withstood the test of time and represent what Arc’teryx stands for: technical innovation, beautiful design and high value. By simplifying the shopping experience our guests can find their perfect product so they can get outside sooner and stay out longer.”
The concept stores are designed to resemble wooden huts and offer a wide range of services including flexible delivery, click and collect, curbside pick-up and a same-day courier service.
