This first store opening is expected to be part of a larger plan to open more stores in Canada.
The Yorkdale Shopping Centre in Toronto is home to Away’s first ever standalone store in Canada. Spanning more than 2800sq ft, the new store is heavily inspired by travel and features a double-height metallic facade adorned with mock airplane windows. Large postcards add a splash of colour and a feeling of travel in the interior of the store.
Founded by Stephanie Korey and Jennifer Rubio in 2015, the brand started as an online only brand and has developed a range of travel produce that customers have come to know and love. The new store will feature a range of these travel and luggage accessories including The Everywhere Bag, The Signature Garment Bag, The Dopp Kit and The Insider Packing Cubs.
The new store is the latest of the brands 12 stores operating across the US and London.
