Under new owners, Babies”R”Us is on course to open its first US store under its new owners after it went out of business in 2018.
This first store is to be opened in the iconic location of American Dream, the gigantic three million square foot plus entertainment-led centre in East Rutherford., New Jersey. The new flagship will be home to a full range of products and services and interactive experiences such as a test track to try out strollers.
“Since acquiring both the Babies”R”Us and Toys”R”Us brands in 2021, our mission has been laser-focused on bringing them back to America,” said Yehuda Shmidman, Chairman and CEO of WHP Global. “We achieved that mission for Toys”R”Us by opening our global flagship at American Dream and through our landmark partnership with Macy’s.
