Baltona Duty Free has taken a landmark step in its new operations at Warsaw Chopin Airport by opening a 1,200sqm duty free shop.
The store, which is located just after the airport’s security, will offer the core duty free categories in a “warm and cosy” environment, the retailer said. This has been achieved through the use of multimedia, several hundred thousand diodes and LED strips.
Baltona Duty Free CEO Piotr Kazimierski commented: “We care about building positive experiences of passengers departing from the Warsaw airport. Therefore, when implementing this investment, we focused on the highest quality.
“We have employed the best specialists from Poland and abroad to work on the project. Finishing elements have been imported from Italy, Spain, Germany, France and the United States.
“Our investment at Chopin Airport is a new approach to communication with the client. We focused on modernity. Screens, in addition to the decorative function, will inform passengers about available brands and promotions. We have also prepared special thematic zones. The final result will be the outcome of cooperation with brands.”
