Set to open of the hills of Mexico’s emerging food and wine region in Baja California in 2023, the hotel will be managed by Banyan Tree Group.
The ultra-luxury resort will feature 30 villas and will mark Banyan Tree Group’s fourth hotel in Mexico, following properties in locations including Riviera Maya, Merida and Acapulo. Elements of Valle de Guadalupe’s agricultural spirit, New World wines and impressive culinary scene will be woven into the very fabric of the hotel.
The hotel itself will be nestled amidst olive oil groves and grapevines with five food and beverage venues found at the very heart of the resort, including a terrace restaurant, fine-dining eatery, cocktail bar, coffee house and hilltop rooftop concept, where guests can take in the stunning views of the valley.
The food and spa menus will feature seven varieties of medicinal plants that are indigenous to the area including hoja santa and white sage, which are grown just steps away at the hotel’s onsite bio-endemic garden sanctuary. Furthermore, the hotel will also utilise freshly pressed olive oil that is harvested and produced at the winery itself.
Banyan Tree Valle de Guadalupe is the latest addition to Banyan Tree Group’s ambitious growth plans of strategic expansion in Mexico.
