The Lebanese favourite Barbar has seen immense success in the emirate, opening its second branch in Dubai and plans to expand in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
The first Dubai location of Barbar opened on Hessa Street just eight months ago, now to meet growing demand; the restaurant brand has opened a second branch at Bay Avenue in Business Bay. Further to this, Barbar has announced it will open in Riyadh’s Tahliyah street, Qatar’s Place Vendome Mall and Al Sadd District, and Egypt’s New Cairo area all within the coming months.
Barbar had previously remained in Beirut since the 1970s, and speaking about the brand in Dubai, Mohammad Al Ghaziri, Founder, said: “It has been incredible to see Barbar’s expansion, from our humble beginnings in Beirut to an established and favourite casual eatery for both the Lebanese and multi-cultural diners of Dubai.”
In its first month, Barbar in Dubai saw 35,000 dine-in guests and over 25,000 takeaway orders.
