Australian footwear brand Bared Footwear made its New York City debut on Thursday with the opening of its first brick-and-mortar store outside of its home country.
Located in the heart of Soho at 152 Spring St, the new store was a logical next step for the brand after 15 years of predominantly selling footwear in Australia, as its US customer base continues to grow through its online business.
“Opening the doors to our first store outside of our home country of Australia is a significant landmark for the brand as we look to scale our business in the US and around the world,” said Anna Baird, Founder and Owner of Bared Footwear.
Built by Turnkey & Bespoke and designed by Ryann Swan Design, the store is characterised by natural textures, lush greenery and thoughtful design elements to encourage shoppers to slow down and take their time in the store.
Notably, the store opens with an early release of some of the brand’s 2025 summer collection, prior to its launch in Australia, alongside an extensive inventory of products across categories. Similarly to the personalised service found in its Australian flagship stores, the New York location offers a tailored fitting process for every shoe purchase.
