The move comes just in time for the holiday season and is perfect for those people looking to do their Christmas shopping online.
The same-day delivery service will be available at all Bed, Bath & Beyond stores across 48 states however customers must live in a registered zip code to be able to utilise the service. The service will be realised by Target-owned Shipt, which already helps to fulfil a number of other retailer’s same-day deliveries including the likes of Costco and Kroger.
The move comes as the retailer has seen an increase in popularity for other pickup solutions bought on by the Coronavirus pandemic. Other solutions include a recently launched contactless curbside pickup option and a buy online and pick up in store option.
Rafeh Masood, Chief Digital Officer at Bed, Bath & Beyond commented: “The important thing is to make sure we get this in place before the holidays. It’s another way for customers to shop us when safety is top of mind.”
