The Saudi supermarket giant has chosen Bahrain as the first abroad location to welcome premium grocery chain, Danube.
The Danube supermarket brand is synonymous with quality, offering a wide variety of premium offerings and hand-picked exclusive imported goods. The grocery chain became a part of BinDawood in 2001 and since then, the brand has grown to operate in 46 current locations, with an ongoing expansion programme.
“Danube recently signed a lease agreement with one of the leading integrated real estate development companies in Bahrain to open a Danube hypermarket store at Al Liwan Project, in the Hamala area, located in the Northern Governorate,” the company said in a statement.
The store is expected to open in 2021.
