The German footwear brand has opened its third brick-and-mortar location in Brooklyn’s trendy Williamsburg neighbourhood.
The store houses the brand’s wide range of products for women, men and children including the company’s iconic styles such as the Arizona sandal and the Boston mule. The store houses shoes, boots, sandals and socks as well as the Birkenstock Natural Skin Care line. The Brooklyn store also features a curated selection of limited-edition designer collaboration styles.
The move comes at a pivotal time for the retail landscape as many brands decide whether to continue with their bricks-and-mortar expansion or focus their efforts online. Birkenstock has enjoyed more traction during the course of the pandemic as consumers continue to opt for comfort.
