The German lifestyle brand plans to expand its business across the country as it enters its second year in operation across India.
Birkenstock entered the Indian market at the end of 2019 and has already successfully launched its own dedicated India website and opened mono-brand stores in Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai along with further expanding through partner-operated retail concepts and shop-in-shop locations.
This year, the brand has launched its new mono-brand store in both Hyderabad and Chennai with plans to further expand its presence in the southern market by opening another store in Bengaluru in February. Birkenstock also plans to open its first stores in Mumbai and Chandigarh in the early part of next year followed by other key Indian markets.
