The Quebec-based jewellery and accessories retailer is set to shutter around 30 per cent of its retail locations.
The retailer filed for bankruptcy in the fall of 2020 and has almost $9.5M in liabilities. This led to a negotiation on rent prices and stores that were expected to close permanently will begin doing so next week. A total of 24 of the brand’s stores will be shut by the end of January.
The stores set to close are located in Matane, Roberval, Baie-Saint-Paul, Chandler, Edmundston, New Brunswick, Bathurst, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Corner Book, Newfoundland, Ottawa, Ontario, Old Quebec and Montreal.
