A new franchise deal has been announced for the globally-recognised craft beer expert BrewDog to bring high-quality beer, fantastic food experiences and exceptional service to iconic locations across Australia.
With their sights targeted for locations in Sydney and Brisbane in the future, the first Brewdog x AVC bar will be found in Melbourne. So where will Melbournians be rushing to? BrewDog Pentridge.
Located within the historic E Division building at what was Pentridge Prison in Coburg, the restored interiors will offer a nod to the history of the iconic site which was established in 1851. And don’t worry, you won’t have to wait long. Set to open in Spring 2022, BrewDog Pentridge will feature an indoor dining room and den on the ground floor, three event spaces on level 1 and an outdoor beer garden with a BrewDog container bar.
So to those that are after something new (the perfect pairing), something old (Pentridge Prison) and something borrowed (your time), keep an eye out for what’s to come.
