Bristol Farms has debuted a new grocery market concept to customers that comes complete with a food hall.
The Southern California upscale specialty grocer has opened Bristol Farms Newfound Market, at the Irvine Spectrum Center, an outdoor shopping and entertainment centre in Irvine, California. The nearly 34,000sq ft store combines a food hall featuring seven of its own chef-created restaurant brands with Bristol Farm’s signature grocery market. There is also a wine department.
The market features an open, warm, and modern environment. On the grocery side, it offers local and international products, with a strong emphasis on local and organic produce. It features more than 350 varieties of cheese, thousands of natural and organic items, full-service seafood and meat counters, hot and cold food bars, a BBQ sandwich menu (with in-house smoker and rotisserie), floral items, fresh bakery items. Other features include a large assortment of ready-to-eat meals and natural living and housewares departments.
“This year marks our 40th anniversary and Bristol Farms Newfound Market showcases the many innovations we will roll out to the company,” said Adam Caldecott, CEO of Bristol Farms. “So much of what we do is driven by a genuine passion for good food. Our Irvine location will bring together all the local, artisanal, and seasonal items you’ve come to expect from Bristol Farms.”
