BRIX Café, the new homegrown brand by The Lab Holding, the team behind BRIX Desserts and 3Fils, has opened its doors in Jumeirah Fishing Harbour.
The harbourside café is helmed by pastry chef Carmen Rueda Hernandez, who brings her experience to the café’s freshly baked breads, pastries, desserts and more, which are all prepared in-house each morning.
Commenting on the opening, Hernandez said: “We’re opening the doors of BRIX Café with a heart full of excitement. We can’t wait to welcome guests to savour the simplicity and warmth in every breakfast, coffee cup, and pastry we produce.”
The menu features dishes like buttery scrambled eggs and avocado on a croissant roll, sautéed Brussel sprouts topped with poached egg and oyster mushrooms, asparagus, caramelised onions, parmesan cheese, and goat’s cheese, a breakfast sandwich filled with beef pastrami, emmental and mustard mayo, plus classic favourites like eggs benedict and avocado toast.
Desserts are served from 4pm till 10pm daily and include options like ‘The Rose’ with vanilla mascarpone with lychee gel, vanilla mousse, rose, and berry gel plus a hazelnut crunch and carrot cake, comprising carrot cake sponge topped with cheese frosting and garnished with edible orange petals.
