Brompton, the UK’s largest bike manufacturer, is launching online at John Lewis – marking an expansion into the retail sector for the iconic British brand.
A range of Brompton bikes has been launched, along with some luggage and accessories at John Lewis, making the company Brompton’s first department store retail partner.
This comes as Brompton recently announced the first equity capital raise for 35 years from BGF. This will see a £19M investment from BGF and existing shareholders to supercharge innovation and fire up international growth.
The company is on a mission to create urban freedom for happier lives, helping to reduce traffic and air pollution in our cities. Expanding into such a well-known retailer will help to take Brompton, and cycling more widely, to an even larger audience.
