The historic Milanese jeweller continues with its expansion strategy by opening a new boutique in Chengdu IFS.
Founded in 1919 by Mario Buccellati, the jewellery brand opened their first small store in the centre of Milan. The brand was sold in 2017 to Gangsu Gangti Holding, who acquired 85 per cent of the capitol and now the brand is 100 per cent owned by Richemont.
The brand has multiple stores across the Chinese market with two in Shanghai, two in Beijing, two in Hong Kong and one in Macau. This new store in Chengdu occupies an area of 65sq m and, according to a press release, aims to be “a magical place where the maison’s creations, jewels in light gold lace, elaborate cuff bracelets, eye-catching cocktail rings and iconic collections, silverware and watches will be hosted.”
