Permission has been granted for the remodelling of the Kupiec Poznanski mixed-use complex in the Polish city of Poznan.

Redesigned by Chapman Taylor, the new mixed-use development will include a new 4-Star Marriott-branded hotel incorporated into the existing building, the reconfiguration of office and retail spaces and the refreshment of common areas.

The hotel, which will be incorporated into the building’s west wing, will offer 150 rooms, a restaurant, a bar and conference/multipurpose facilities for use by Poznań’s thriving business convention sector.

In addition to reorganised office spaces for the city’s strongly growing business sector, the rearranged retail and F&B elements will cater for tourists visiting Poznań by offering a relaxing and intimate atmosphere.

Chapman Taylor Director Rafał Giersz says of the project: “Our many years of experience in designing similar facilities, both for the Polish and international markets, will help ensure that Kupiec Poznański will thrive for many years to come.”

Construction is scheduled to complete in 2022.
