Burberry to Unveil New Store in Paris on Avenue Montaigne

Waiting until the spotlight was on Paris to unveil its new Parisian flagship; the English house has unveiled its new store located at 17-19 avenue Montaigne, a major luxury axis in the French capital.

In the middle of Fashion Week, the store, which extends over two levels, has opened its doors to present the spring and summer offerings designed by Daniel Lee, the brand’s Creative Director. Moreover, the Burberry press release insists on the fact that “the new store reflects the new creative vision put in place by Daniel Lee”.

The windows, during the work, had taken up the historic Equestrian Knight Design (EKD) and this is found with the horse and the shield visible from the entrance. “The store’s furnishings favour handmade sculptural pieces inspired by British abstract art of the 1960s and the Creative Salvage movement of the 1980s,” says the brand. “The concrete floor also represents Burberry’s EKD through a mosaic delicately made by hand from Verde Alpi marble.”

The new Parisian store strengthens a fleet of 421 directly operated points of sale at the end of the 2023 financial year. Of these, the brand had 225 stores, including 46 in Europe Middle East Africa.
