The Tanos at 8 team is launching a new venture. Named Eleven Green, the burger joint will be located at Umm Suqeim, Jumeirah. The launch is planned for a yet-to-be-confirmed date in April.
Founders of supper club, Tano’s at 8, Sultan and Kinda Chatila, say they decided on the new venture following the popular ‘bull burger’ winning the title of ‘Best Burger in the UAE’.
After entering Cucina de Sul’s competition last spring which was in search of the best homemade burger in Dubai, Sultan ultimately won the competition which was judged by a panel that included Chef Orfali and Reif Othman. The local win saw him fly to Dallas where the creation also won the 3rd Best Burger in the World at the ‘World Food Championship 2022’.
On the opening, Sultan said: “With the launch of Eleven Green, we are embarking on a new journey that combines my love of food with my business expertise,” he said. Following nineteen years in the corporate world, he said he was excited to now fully follow his culinary passions. “I am excited to see where this project takes me and to share my culinary creations with the city of Dubai,” he said.
