Following changes to consumer behaviour, Burger King has announced it will permanently change restaurants to meet these new demands.
The fast food giant has announced two new designs that take into consideration how consumer behaviours have changed and how guests will want to interact with restaurants. The ‘Next Level’ design covers two-floors and includes three drive-thru lanes. The ‘Your Way’ concept features two drive-thru lanes and a dedicated walk up window for people to collect takeaway orders.
The Burger King Your Way design allows customers to park their cars which are fitted with QR codes unique to their parking spot. Upon arrival they can order their meal via the Burger King mobile app and have their food delivered to their parking spot. The Next Level Burger King will be fitted with a conveyor belt that delivers orders to customers.
Both new designs will offer curbside pickup and mobile pickup lockers.
