C&A Launches New Mexico Store

One month after Grupo Alfar announced the purchase agreement for the C&A Mexico business, the fashion chain is advancing its 2023 expansion plans, with the launch of four establishments in the interior of the country.

The first of them opened its doors on 14 July in Cuernavaca, inside the Averanda shopping centre. After this opening, C&A confirms in a statement that it will carry out the inauguration of new spaces in The Park San Luis Potosí, Plaza de Hierro in Navojoa, Sonora and in Ámbar Fashion Mall in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas during the month of August.

“This growth, the result of strong investments in Mexico, not only strengthens our brand, but also reaffirms our expansion plan that seeks to improve and expand our ‘market’ and ‘market light’ store models. With these new stores, we are getting closer to more and more of our customers, establishing ourselves as an increasingly accessible and close brand,” says Kelly Kroger, CEO of C&A Mexico.

As anticipated, the growth of the fashion firm not only continues through physical points, but also with its commitment and offer in sustainability through the “ReutiliC&A” program, active in more than 90 per cent of all its stores and the various sustainable programs, certifications and processes that it has undertaken in recent years.
