Caledonia Park Celebrates Best Year

Railpen, one of the largest pension managers in the UK, has announced Caledonia Park, its premium designer outlet village in Scotland, has experienced a record-breaking year for sales and performance.

The destination introduced seven new brands and secured a series of long-term renewals, demonstrating the success of Railpen’s strategic asset management.

A targeted and considered leasing strategy, combined with strong performance for the destination, has resulted in several lease renewals for long-standing tenants, including POLO Ralph Lauren, who have committed to another five years at the destination, Cadbury, Berghaus and Levi’s. This demonstrates yet another vote of confidence in Caledonia Park, marking its significant appeal for both brands and visitors across the country.

Maria Averkina, Asset & Development Manager at Railpen, commented: “2024 has been a standout year for us as we remain strong in our position as the go-to place for outlet debuts in Scotland. We’ve had record footfall and sales, putting us on a positive trajectory as we kick off 2025 and our portfolio of brands is continuing to excel, catering to our visitor’s tastes. Our focus will remain on supporting existing tenants as well as attracting new ones, with several discussions already underway with leading retailers.”

As well as Caledonia Park’s line of renewals, Ben Sherman opened its first outlet location in Scotland at Caledonia Park at the end of last year, taking 1,500sq ft adjacent to fellow Scottish outlet debuts Moss, which recently opened its refurbished store and kate spade new york. The store features a strong selection of its signature outerwear ranges and accessories in a modern interior, elevating the customer experience.
