The owner of Camden Market, LabTech, has announced that its eco-led sister development Buck Street Market re-opens today.
Kick starting eco-friendly trading in Camden will be 80 per cent of Buck Street’s traders, followed by its rooftop restaurants, Ethika, Spirited Craft Drinks and the first floor intimate fine-dining concept Wildflower, opening on 18 July.
Made up of 88 recycled shipping containers that are home to the market, Buck Street Market hosts Camden’s largest rooftop space which spans 500sq ft.
Commenting on LabTech’s re-launch, Maggie Milosavljevic, LabTech’s Commercial Director, said: “It is important we continue to communicate the guidelines we have in place across our estate. Since reopening Camden Market successfully, and now reopening Buck Street Market we are continuing to build momentum for businesses across Camden, while ensuring all our visitors and staff remain safe and secure.
“This has been an unprecedented time for many businesses, and we are proud to be able to welcome back so many traders and consumers at their own pace. As a leading London landlord, we strive to support unique ventures such as Buck Street Market, which provides a great concept for our eco-conscious community; an area we are all increasingly aware of as a result of lockdown.”
The launch of Buck Street Market will be followed by the opening of Hawley Wharf Camden; a 580,000sq ft mixed-scheme development due to open later in 2020.
