The property group has completed the comprehensive reform project of the ‘As Cancelas’ Shopping Center for Realia and Carmila, the owners of the centre.
The project that has been developed for 9 months has been conceptualized developed and executed under the direction of the Carrefour Property team and has served to turn As Cancelas into a benchmark for innovation and sustainability.
Maica Fernández, Director of this Department, commented: “As Cancelas is a reference asset in the north of Spain and after 8 years since its inauguration it needed to be updated to maintain that relevance among customers and operators. Everything we did had to put the customer at the center to further enhance their visiting experience.”
The concept chosen by Carrefour Property, baptized as GEODA, has allowed a renewal of the essence of this space, which is the largest commercial reference in Galicia, whilst updating it by incorporating the most avant-garde trends in the market. The investment has allowed improvements to be made in the more than 150,000sq m that will make the customer experience unforgettable.
