The luxury retailer has commited $1.2M to support Lebanon following the devastating explosion that took place there in August.
Since the massive explosion, Chalhoub Group has been closely following the situation and, ensuring that the support goes to the correct channels, is offering support to the country in three phases. Phase one focuses on immediate relief efforts, particularly medical relief for those in need. The second phase supports the recovery of buildings and finally, the third phase focuses on community development projects.
Chalhoub Group Chief Executive Officer, Patrick Chalhoub stated, “I stand with Lebanon and all the families impacted. I take this moment to thank all of our employees who have generously contributed to the relief programme we’ve put together to stand by the Lebanese people in their time of need. We have united as one to spread hope and once again, we proved that we are part of a wonderful community.”
