Charles & Keith Open Largest China Store in Chengdu

Singapore’s Charles & Keith have opened a new mainland China flagship, selecting the city of Chengdu to open its biggest store in China.

Located at the MixC Shopping Mall, the new Charles & Keith Chengdu store spans two storeys with a total area of 564sq m and offers a palette of neutral hues, with Chengdu-exclusive features integrated into the store to honour the local culture.

These include a panda installation set up in-store that also serves as a photo spot, alongside personalisation services, with options to hot stamp initials or create custom bag charms for select pieces.

Inside, shoppers will find the brand’s full range of shoes, alongside signature lines and collections, with the open-concept space also featuring spacious resting areas for lounging, rendered in pops of colour. Chinese artist Zhao Wei’s painting, ‘Good time’, is also on display in-store, designed to mimic the versatility of the brand’s Charlot bag.

Known for its take on affordable luxury, Charles & Keith’s pricing sits in the mid-range and the company has grown in popularity over the last decade-and-a-half since its founding in 2006. Today, the brand boasts nearly 700 stores around the world, including in key fashion cities such as Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai and Dubai.
