The well-known eatery is to open its first Singapore restaurant late next year, signifying the fast food chain’s entry into China.
The new restaurant will mark the beginning of a 10-year, $75M investment by the US fast-food chain, with two more restaurants planned to open in 2026. Currently, the fast food chain has more than 3,000 restaurants globally.
“The profound love that Singaporeans have for food, as well as the city’s strategic position as a gateway to the Asian market makes it the ideal choice for Chick-fil-A’s first permanent restaurant in the region,” said Anita Costello, Chief International Officer at Chick-fil-A.
The announcement of the new store follows Chick-fil-A’s successful pop-up event in Singapore last June, during which the brand introduced itself to the community and gained an understanding of the region’s preferences.
