Leading QSR brand, Chopstix, has continued to grow its footprint in Scotland, with the restaurant group greeting long queues of locals upon its launch in Braehead Shopping Centre last week.
The new equity site will be the tenth Chopstix location to open in Scotland, where the company has identified significant growth opportunities, based on strong sales, outstanding customer feedback and analysis of market mapping data. Sites in Edinburgh and Livingston are amongst the Group’s best-performing stores in the whole of the UK, while Chopstix also operates two sites in nearby Glasgow, in the Silverburn Shopping Centre and on Sauchiehall Street in the city centre.
The Braehead Shopping Centre location boasts brand-new state of the art digital screens, alongside bold and bright signature interiors that make Chopstix so unique, such as the brand’s iconic ‘living wall,’ natural wood finishes and its winking anime character. The site includes thirty seats for in-store dining, as well as offering takeaway and delivery options.
Jon Lake, Chopstix Managing Director, said: “The huge appetite for Chopstix in Scotland has given us real impetus to explore further opportunities here. I’m delighted we’ve found such a great location for our third site in Greater Glasgow and given the performance of our Silverburn and Sauchiehall Street sites in the city and our strong track record in shopping centres, I’m confident our newest unit will deliver fantastic returns.”
