Sharjah’s newest shopping destination by Majid Al Futtaim is now open to the public.
The newly-launched AED2.6bn project, City Centre Al Zahia is Majid Al Futtaim’s 28th shopping mall in the Middle East. The new destination is expected to become exceptionally popular within the emirate due to its unique art and culture offering. Alongside the more traditional retail offering, the mall will feature artistic, social, theatrical and sports hubs alongside professional and educational workshops and a grand plaza complete with children’s play areas.
The mall is home to a number of familiar and popular brands such as Steve Madden, Pandora, Centrepoint, Ajmal and Damas. The destination will also become an incubator for home-grown, regional brands including Lululemon, Crate and Barrel and Lego, new to the Sharjah market.
Shireen El Khatib, Chief Executive Officer of Majid Al Futtaim – Shopping Malls, commented on the opening: “The only new super-regional mall to be launched in the MENA in the wake of Covid-19, City Centre Al Zahia is a testament to the resolve, commitment and optimistic spirit of Sharjah and the wider northern emirates. The Mall is an achievement of hope and innovation in the face of adversity.”
