Hospitality owner-operator Classic Hotels & Resorts has rebranded as Marc & Rose Hospitality, and will relaunch two hotels over the next 12 months.
Following multi-million dollar renovations, La Playa Hotel in Carmel-by-the-Sea (California) and The Inn at Laguna Beach (Venice Beach) will reopen in the next 12 months under the Marc & Rose umbrella. The redesigns have been led by Post Company and Electric Bowery respectively.
Other hotels in the portfolio include Arizona Grand Resort & Spa, Hotel Carmel, Laguna Beach House, The Scott Resort & Spa and more. The group also has plans to expand its High Country Motor Lodge brand across the western coast of the US.
John Grossman, CEO of Marc & Rose Hospitality, said: “The Marc & Rose brand is a new reflection of what we have always been: a devoted hospitality practice pioneered and inspired by the company’s founders, Peggy Rosalie Jacobsen and Samuel Marcus Grossman. They were unconventional and inspiring leaders who paved the way for us to continue creating unforgettable experiences for adventurers, explorers, and tranquility seekers.
“Our reimagined heritage properties and new concepts alike are unforgettable experiences for anyone who visits, and especially for those who return again and again. Marc & Rose properties are immersive, sensual, and meaningfully rooted in place,” he added.
