LabTech, owner of Camden Market, has announced the launch of plant-based concept, Clean Kitchen, at Camden’s Buck Street Market, the UK’s first dedicated eco-conscious destination.
Clean Kitchen, co-founded by former YouTuber Michael Pearce and TV personality Verity Bowditch, was established as a dark kitchen in 2020, during the first Covid lockdown. Set over two floors and catering to up to 54 covers, the brand’s Buck Street Market site is their first permanent restaurant space in London.
The menu includes their established favourites, such as the beetroot bun chick’n burger, truffle burger, and ‘Plant Girl Summer’ meal deals, as well as vegan bacon mac n cheese, no-chicken katsu bowls, and no meat meatballs, accompanied by some delicious shakes and sides.
Verity Bowditch, Co-Founder of Clean Kitchen, commented: “We are delighted that Clean Kitchen has opened at Buck Street Market, as we celebrate our one-year anniversary. To have a permanent space in a destination that promotes shared values, in London’s most forward-thinking neighbourhood, is a great step for our brand. Clean Kitchen makes vegan food and drink exciting from breakfast through to dinner, and we cannot wait to showcase our menu to Camden’s visitors.”
