London’s famed Corinthia Hotel is scripting a major expansion and ambitious market leadership plan in the UAE – and the wider Middle East region.
The plan will see the super-luxury hospitality group opening high-end hotel projects in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Oman. Saudi Arabia’s emerging international tourist hub, the Red Sea area and Jeddah are among the other cities which will see Corinthia’s super-luxury hotel projects coming up, along with its projects currently underway in Riyadh and Doha.
The proposed slew of hotel projects will be set up through unique and flexible management contract arrangements with Corinthia’s existing and new capital partners specialising in luxury hotel real estate.
“We are developing Corinthia Hotels into a global luxury hospitality brand, with the UAE and the Middle East as some of the key markets due to strong inbound and outbound demand,” Simon Casson, CEO of Corinthia Hotel London, told Arabian Business. “Our clients frequently travel to the Middle East and we aim to offer them Corinthia experiences there,” he said.
