The company have unveiled a groundbreaking new concept in sports viewing, is rapidly gaining attention for its innovative approach to creating immersive fan experiences.
Offering a high-tech, cinema-like environment, Cosm allows up to 2,000 spectators to feel as if they are in the heart of the action without the need for virtual reality headsets. With its initial venues in Los Angeles and Dallas, Cosm is positioned to change how sports fans experience live events, combining cutting-edge technology with a full-scale entertainment environment.
Developed by California-based tech firm Cosm, the immersive experience leverages planetarium-style display technology to deliver live sports action in unprecedented detail. Cosm’s massive 180-degree LED screens boast over 12k resolution, providing fans with a clear, panoramic view of live events such as the Premier League, NBA, UFC and more. These high-definition displays, 150 times brighter than traditional screens, create a hyper-realistic environment where fans feel as though they are on the sidelines, courtside, or even inside the Octagon.
This ambitious project is led by Jeb Terry, Cosm’s CEO and President, who envisioned a new way for fans to experience sports entertainment. By repurposing planetarium technology for live sports viewing, Cosm offers a unique viewing platform that brings fans closer to the action without the logistical challenges of attending live events in person.
One of the standout features of Cosm is its focus on providing an all-encompassing fan experience. Unlike traditional methods of watching sports, Cosm blends immersive visuals with an engaging social environment. The venues are designed to integrate high-tech displays with fan-oriented amenities such as lounges, bars and table service. With stadium crowd noise pumped into the venue, Cosm recreates the atmosphere of being at a live game while offering the luxury of uninterrupted views, instant replays and comfortable surroundings.
