The megastore is set to take over a location formerly occupied by Robinsons department store at The Hereen on Orchard Road.
The giant flagship store will span around 189,000sq ft and six-storeys, and will be Courts’ largest flagship in the city. The store will feature new retail concepts which have been described as ‘bold, fresh and authentic’.
The new store will pride itself on delivering Japanese standards of customer experience, and this will be its defining factor.
“The Hereen is still a symbolic landmark located right in the heart of Orchard Road and we believe it holds great potential as a central location within the shopping belt. Despite the business disruption caused by Covid-19, we have seen a strong recovery for our products to date,” commented Hoang Duc Thanh Matthew, Group COO at Courts Asia and Country CEO at Courts Singapore.
The store is expected to open in the first quarter of next year.
