The Peruvian restaurant is set to launch in the Kingdom following a very strong year at their existing Dubai and Abu Dhabi venues.
The restaurant brand intends to open in Saudi Arabia, with their first restaurant set to open in Riyadh by the second quarter on 2022. The brand launched their first venue in London in 2012 and has since gone on to open award-winning venues in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The brand now has a total of eight global branches and is eying further growth.
Yannis Stanisiere, COO of the COYA brand commented: “Overall we did pretty well in the UAE. Both Dubai and Abu Dhabi had an extremely good year because no one could travel and so our local and expat clientele continued frequenting us and we were able to have strong business.”
“The kingdom is opening up and a lot of international brands are venturing into that market, ” Stanisiere said. “A high percentage of our private members club in Dubai and London are Saudi, which is why we decided to open in Riyadh,” he concluded.
