Crosstree Real Estate Partners, the London-based private real estate investment firm, has announced the signing of Miele for the final retail unit at One Berkeley Street, marking the completion of the landmark mixed-use development in London’s Mayfair.
Designed by AHMN, One Berkeley Street comprises the 181-room, ‘1 Hotel Mayfair’, 60,000sq ft of prime Grade-A offices and 20,000sq ft of flagship retail space.
Miele, the high-end domestic appliances brand, is to open a 1,711sq ft Experience Centre at One Berkeley Street, occupying one of the development’s four retail spaces on Piccadilly. Miele joins TechnoGym, the world leader in gym equipment for fitness clubs, sports centres, medical centres and home training, with the brand launching its first standalone showroom in the UK at One Berkeley Street, alongside the first global store concept by Lotus Cars. Completing the ground-floor offer is GAIA, a refined tavern concept from Dubai and Monte-Carlo, offering exquisite Greek Mediterranean cuisine by chef Izu Ani.
Matt Mason, Partner and Head of Development at Crosstree, commented: “One Berkeley Street is Mayfair’s newest landmark, with its sustainability standards, quality and character of the space attracting leading brands seeking to make a statement in the capital. Miele’s flagship continues this trend, joining Lotus Cars’s debut global store, TechnoGym’s first standalone London store, GAIA and the launch of 1 Hotel Mayfair, which has set a new benchmark for sustainable luxury in London.”
