The modern eyewear retailer is set to open its third store outside of the UK’s capital city in Leeds.
The new store will be situated in the city’s Victoria Arcade, and the shop means that the company will now have 11 stores nationwide. Set to open on 8 November, Cubitts is launching an exclusive micro-collection of three frames that have been inspired by the city’s most revered artists, designers and architects. This collection will be available to purchase exclusively at the store.
To further celebrate the launch, Cubitts has teamed up with independent Leeds brewer Northern Monk to create a Cubitts beer which will be sold online. The leftover grain from the beer will be used to create a bespoke pair of spectacles that will be displayed in the Leeds store.
Tom Broughton, Founder and Chief Executive, commented: “We’ve been searching for our perfect site in Leeds since 2016. So five years on, and after a tumultuous two years, it is an honour to be opening our doors.”
