The value-priced Japanese variety retailer has opened its first Canadian corporate store in Downtown Vancouver.
The 4,700sq ft store is located at 810 Granville Street in Downtown Vancouver, a space which was formlery occupied by an Indigo Spirit bookstore. The store houses a wide range of products including stationery, cosmetics and home goods. A number of traditional Japanese items can also be found including Origami paper.
Almost all of the products in the new Vancouver store have been imported from Japan, while some other items were bought in either Canada of the US. The product assortment is known to be of exceptionally high-quality for the price point, which has resulted in Daiso’s success across the globe. At present, a Canadian Daiso website is under construction and a US e-commerce site launched at the end of last year.
JLL Canada represents Daiso’s further expansion into the Canadian market.
