The British department store Debenhams has now started the liquidation process of its operations in Hong Kong. The move comes a week following filing for administration in the UK.
All of Debenhams’ Hong Kong staff will have their positions terminated as the liquidation process commences in Asia, whereas staff in the UK staff are receiving government support during the coronavirus pandemic.
