The new online grocery shopping service, called Deliveroo Express Mart is now available throughout the UAE.
Deliveroo Express Mart will initially provide customers with a number of essential items such as fruits and vegetables, meat, seafood, eggs, milk and dairy, all available on demand. The service has been implemented as consumer trends continue to shift amid the current global pandemic.
Anis Harb, General Manager of Deliveroo UAE, commented: “At Deliveroo, we listen to our customers and pride ourselves on keeping up with consumer trends. The global pandemic has accelerated the importance of delivery, and the need for at-home delivery services beyond takeaway food.”
The service is available through the Deliveroo App and is easy to use for customers as it is the same as ordering takeaway food. Grocery brands currently available through the service include: 7-Eleven, 800Pharmacy, Circle K, Ikea – Swedish Food Market, Marks and Spencer, Shop Kitopi and Quality Food.
