The recently opened location occupies an area of 160sq m and has been designed to replicate a concept similar to that of an art gallery.
Desigual’s new store is designed similarly to a large gallery where few items are displayed, and are in permanent rotation. The open space offers several environments that are distinguished by panels full of colour, some with a suggestion of landscapes that harmonise with the collections. These distinguishing features also accompany the spirit and style of a number of special partnerships, including those made with Maria Escote, Christian Lacroix and Disney.
Desigual has been present in Portugal for around 14 years and currently has 11 stores in the market. Five of these are open in shopping centres, namely, Shopping Braga Parque, Espaço Guimarães, Vila do Conde The Style Outlet, NorteShopping and Palácio do Gelo Shopping. In the centre, more specifically in Greater Lisbon, four spaces are open at Vasco da Gama Center (Lisbon), Dolce Vita Tejo (Amadora), Freeport Fashion Outlet (Alcochete) and Almada Forum and in the south, there are two, in Aqua Portimão and in the Designer Outlet Algarve (Almancil).
