The sporting goods retailer continues to roll out its new experiential and discount store formats.
Dicks Sporting Goods is set to open its second Public Lands store on November 5 in Columbus, Ohio. The concept store, which is focused on outdoor activities and land conservation, was first launched in September at Cranberry Square in Pittsburgh.
The new Public Lands store will span an area of 60,000sq ft and feature a 30ft rock wall, an in-store gear repair and rental department and specialised stores that are dedicated to various outdoor activities. The store will also carry outdoor and lifestyle apparel, footwear, and equipment brands, and support the local outdoor community through conservation.
Furthermore, the brand will open its second Golf Galaxy Performance Centre at Tamarack Village Shopping Centre in Woodbury, Minnesota. The existing Golf Galaxy store has been redesigned to offer golfers of all capabilities an immersive experience. There is state-of-the-art hitting bays, custom fittings and golf lessons from a PGA-certified professional.
