MMG Group (formerly Bolt Group) has announced the opening of OSH Del Mar. Located at The Address Beach Resort, the restaurant is due to open in August 2023.
OSH Del Mar draws its inspiration from Uzbekistan and Central Asia with the term “OSH” embodies the heart and soul of modern Uzbek cuisine, offering a diverse array of traditional flavours and culinary heritage. In contrast, “Del Mar,” a Spanish phrase translating to “From the Sea,” signifies the restaurant’s emphasis on seafood and fish.
At OSH Del Mar, the focus will be on open-fire cooking. The chefs will use three different types of charcoal grills (Josper, robata, spit), as well as other traditional ovens, in combination with natural wood smoke. The restaurant will also introduce innovative fish aging cabinets, creating a controlled temperature environment where fish acquires a delicate, organic, and rich taste.
The menu will feature a range of items, from kebabs to seafood prepared over open fire and the restaurant’s views will include those of Blue Water Island, the Marina’s lagoon, and Palm Jumeirah.
